Shopping… cocktails.. hor’dourves from the city’s finest restaurants… and RAISING MONEY FOR CITY HARVEST. Sound amazing? Well it certainly was! Last week some of the city chicks arrived at Saks Fifth Avenue for a fundraiser benefiting one of the Chicks favorite causes.. City Harvest. City Harvest is a wonderful organization that salvages left over food from restaurants and farmers markets all over the city. This food is generously donated and then given to shelters city-wide.
Saks and New York Magazine hosted a FABULOUS evening giving each attendee a $75 Saks gift card, filling our tummies with delectable treats from some of the city’s most coveted restaurants and refreshing our tired shopping feet with flutes of champagne. This event is not to be missed next year!!
Thank you to Saks and New York Magazine for hosting such a fun and worthy night!

Rosy is all around an amazing dog. She’s a gorgeous 1 year old medium size black-brindle female pittie mix with a little white stripe on her nose, has little white socks, a white chest, and a white collar. She walks great on the leash, is gentle, and knows how to sit and stay. Rosy is house trained, barely barks and is excellent with other dogs and children - what more could you ask for?! Rosy walks with such grace that only the tips of her ears flap in the wind when she walks. As her foster mom, I can absolutely attest to the fact of how wonderful she is - a joy to walk, very respectful, and will make someone very happy one day. Please give Rosy the warm and loving home she deserves! Please contact Kristiana at TchirK@aol.com.

This past Saturday night some of the chicks attended a benefit for the well-known Big Brothers/Big Sisters charity at the swanky Cipriani’s … and what a benefit it was! Champagne, caviar (no joke) tuxedos and little black dresses only begin to describe the fabulous scene.
The silent auction lured attendees with trips to Dubai, nights at the Opera and oodles of pampering. We gambled the night away with faux money - proceed of the purchased “chips” all going to the big brothers/sisters charity. It was a wonderful evening and without doubt the amount of money raised will make a big difference in many lives. The chicks will definitely be back next year for the 3rd annual casino extravaganza!
