Hundreds of toys… Hundreds of dollars donated… a delectable spread…marines..and a bell choir… the city chicks are proud to have hosted with Sty Town their second annual toy drive!

News of the first NYC winter storm a-comin’ did not stop the City Chicks and our U.S. Marines from coming together to collect toys for the children! And what a wonderful morning it was… bruch.. holiday cheer.. piles of toys from the generous  friends of city chicks..and marines!

The US Marine Corps Reserve Marine Toys for Tots is an amazing program.  From October through December, our marines collect toys and distribute them to needy children come Christmas.  The goal is to deliver hope to less fortunate youngsters and help them to become responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.

The Chicks

On December 2nd 2009, NBC Universal Digital and City Chicks 4 Charity partnered together to host a Holiday Gift Wrapping Workshop. This celebration held during Tree Lighting at Rockefeller Center went to benefit BIg Brother’s and Big Sisters.  This was a great way to celebrate the holidays while helping those less fortunate.  Every year NBCU Digital invites its employees, friends and family to join them in experiencing the joy and festivities of the famed Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting. In these challenging times, NBCU Digital decided to take this opportunity to celebrate the generous spirit of the holiday season by joining forces with City Chicks 4 Charity to bring the joy of giving through a charity based party. . Party goers enjoyed premium spirits from Tommy Bahama and Prospero Wine, while snacking on delectable eats from PJ Clarke’s.  Guests also played fun holiday themed games and rocked to festive music.  All the gifts were donated to Big Brother’s Big Sisters.  Check our pics from the event and please join us at our upcoming 2nd annual gift wrapping party on Saturday December 19th!
